A beach wedding at Barefoot at Broken Head is the most pristine and sophisticated beach wedding venue in Australia. The bride walks through the bush to an old-school beach with not a house insight. At the end of a single stretch of sand her guests look to the north to the most easterly point of Australia - the Byron Bay Lighthouse. There is salt in the air, eucalyptus crowded thick over the hills, and waves rolling in from the point.

After the wedding ceremony the guests walk a minute over the sand dunes through a simple back gate to reveal the minimal masterpiece that is Barefoot at Broken Head  and the beautiful beach beyond.

In the days before and after your beach wedding reception have relatives or friends to stay, ride the bikes along the beach at low tide, or work up an appetite in the 20 metre lap pool.

Barefoot at Broken Head has seven other Byron Bay holiday houses to rent within a short walk on Broken Head Reserve Road. For the budget conscious there is the famous Broken Head Holiday Park with caravan accommodation just 250m away. Many guests also choose to stay in one of the multitude of holiday resorts in Byron Bay itself.

Three airlines fly into Ballina Airport just 20 minutes from the house, and the larger Gold Coast airport is 60 minutes north. Both airports provide easy access to Bryon Bay and Broken Head.

It’s all here - no need to organise a professional kitchen, bathrooms, electricity, decorations, cool room, marquees, public liability insurance, gate attendant, rubbish removal or indoor/outdoor ceremony options. All this is included as well as your honeymoon standard accommodation.

Barefoot at Broken Head provides you with with the wedding venue, infrastructure and luxury accommodation, and works with renowned local company Byron Bay Weddings to provide you with co-ordination and catering. You purchase your own alcohol and beverages wherever you wish and have them delivered for the wedding reception.
